BEIJING, Sept. 18 -- China's Supreme People's Court(SPC) revealed 67 school crime cases, among which intentional injury was the most commonly occurring offense.

The cases involve juvenile crimes such as intentional injury, affray, robbery and sexual assaults, said SPC spokesman Sun Jungong on Thursday, adding 38 cases involved intentional injury.

Offender age ranged from 15 to 17, while the age of victims was between 14 and 16, with the majority of the students involved beijing male, he said.

"With increasing access to the Internet, teenagers can easily fall victim to bad influence of online pornography and violence due to their lack of self-control," said Sun.

Sun also attributed such juvenile crimes partly to the negligence of schools and parents in educating teenagers.
