An open-topped roadster running on the road is not that uncommon scene in China. But this time someone in Chongqing cut off the top of a van.

A group of photos of the recreational vehicle go viral in China through Weibo, a twitter-like social media, recently.

In the pictures, a man wearing a red helmet drives an open-topped van, which is registered as B31930 on the highway in Chongqing. The entire ceiling, right door and the front windshield are all removed.

Mr. Chen, the owner of the van, said that his van was stolen more than two months ago. The second-hand van was bought in 2010 at a price of 10,000 yuan(US$1,571).

Chen does not have a clue about the modification to his vehicle. But he assumes that car-napper cut off the top of his van, according to Chongqing Evening News.
