NEW DELHI, July 27 -- Indian scientists claim to have discovered six new species of spider in the southern state of Kerala, local media reported Monday.

A team at Biodiversity Research Centre of Christ College in Irinjalakuda found the six new species of spiders at Harithavanam, a place located near the banks of the Aluva Sivarathri manappuram.
