NEW DELHI, July 27 -- Indian scientists claim to have discovered six new species of spider in the southern state of Kerala, local media reported Monday.
A team at Biodiversity Research Centre of Christ College in Irinjalakuda found the six new species of spiders at Harithavanam, a place located near the banks of the Aluva Sivarathri manappuram.
The six species are from five genus -- Chrysso, Dendrolycosa, Tetragntha, Trachelas and Argyrodes -- the last being the world's most venomous spider, the reports said.
Earlier also, the same team had discovered some new species of spiders.
