The gate of Sida Foreign Language School has been blocked by two huge garbage piles in Zhengzhou, Central China's Henan province. Passers-by have to cup their nose and mouse with hands while going by. Why is it?
The doorman of the school said that a group of people came by at 7 p.m. on July 18 and dumped two trucked of garbage right in front of the gate.
A sanitation worker said that the garbage was dumped by neighborhood parents, whose children failed the entrance exam of the school and was thus rejected by the school admission office. The parents were doing this to vent their spleen.
Because the negotiation between the school and parents have not yet settled down on any agreement, the sanitation worker decided to leave the two stinky piles alone for the moment.
A logistics staff member from the school felt aggrieved. "We enroll about 100 students out of 500 this year." The staff member recalled how they found a locksmith to unlock the gate on July 17. The gate was locked by parents on July 15.
Reporter from Henan Shangbao has reported the situation to the Urban Administrative Bureau of Zhengzhou, who promised to come to the spot and inspect the case.
