China now has 225 million 4G users, and the total users of 3G and 4G is over 670 million, said Shang Bing, Vice Minister of Industry and Information Technology, at the 2015 China Internet Conference, reported by People's Daily. 

According to Shang Bing, China has speeded up the construction of high-speed broadband network. Thanks to the fast expansion of information industry, currently, China has over 330 million fiber optic subscribers, 2.58 million 3G and 4G base stations and 650 million netizens. In the first half of this year, Chinese Internet enterprises completed over 100 merger and acquisitions, with disclosed capital sum of 3.7 billion yuan.
