A large rare earth mine was recently discovered in Qingyuan county, eastern China's Zhejiang province.The deposit is expected to exceed 100,000 tons, according to the reports of the website of the Ministry of Land and Resource on July 20.

The elements in rare earth can be widely used in the fields from national defense, military industry, space to nuclear energy.
