

The National People's Congress released a draft of its Internet security law to seek out public opinion Wednesday.
According to the website of NPC, the newly drafted law allows the government to limit access to internet in order to maintain public order, particularly in the case of "sudden and mass incidents."
The draft was has been approved by the State Council. Under the law, internet operators are obligated to protect users' personal data. It also requires that users register their real names to receive Internet service.
