Wang Chunping is a single father from Shenyang, northeast China’s Liaoning province. His son is afflicted with aplastic anemia. To save his son, Wang chooses to donate blood because half of his son’s blood transfusion expense can be reimbursed with a blood donation card. Wang has donated blood 48 times since 2013.
