A delegation of 50 excellent entrepreneurs from Dongguan led by officials from its government attended the conference. Enterprises of both sides that participated in the discussion section involved industries such as footwear, ceramics, furniture, electronic, hotel and tourism.
“China as the fastest growing economy in the world is one of the targeted country in terms of Trade and Investment promotion,” said Motlatjo Moholwa, Deputy Director-General of Gauteng Department of Economic Development addressed the event, “So we believe that this conference is taking us in the right direction to radically transform, modernize and re-industrialize the Gauteng City region economy.”
