BEIJING, April 14 -- China on Tuesday urged the U.S. not to interfere in Hong Kong affairs, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
Spokesperson Hong Lei made the remarks at a daily news briefing in response to "The Hong Kong Policy Report" released by the U.S..
"Hong Kong affairs are China's domestic affairs and other countries have no right to interfere," Hong said.
China again urged the U.S. to honor its commitment on China-U.S. relations and stop interfering in China's domestic affairs in any way so as not to harm bilateral ties, Hong said.
