Li Yinglai, 71, lives in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan province. He began to wear women's clothes when he was 60. Since then, children nearby all call him "granny".
"My mother has no daughters, and I want to make her happy by wearing women's clothes", says Li, "I'm happy to wear women's clothes, and I can make others happy too". Now, there are more women's clothes than men's in his closet. However, most of his women's clothes are old-fashioned and were given by clothes sellers.
Li was born in Jianshui county in Honghe prefecture and came to Kunming in his childhood. He lives with his elder brother and his old mother who is more than 90 years old. Li is not married, has no children. He often goes to dance in parks at weekends.
