Senior CPC official meets head of Belarus president administration

BEIJING, April 9 -- Senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Liu Yunshan met with Alexander Kosinets, head of Belarus President Administration, in Beijing on Thursday.

Liu, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, said China-Belarus cooperation has yielded fruitful results and brought substantial benefits to the two people.

China would like to work with Belarus to implement the development plan of the comprehensive strategic partnership, deepen high-level exchanges, deepen practical cooperation, respect each other's core interests and major concerns and support each other's development, Liu said.

Liu introduced China's "One Belt and One Road" initiatives, also known as the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road initiatives, saying the initiatives are open, inclusive and pragmatic.

He reaffirmed China's commitment to working together with other countries and seeking world peace, stability and development.

Kosinets said Belarus-China comprehensive strategic partnership has reaped good harvests across various sectors.

Belarus supports China's Silk Road Economic Belt initiative and would like to work closely with China and seek mutually-beneficial cooperation,Kosinets said.

This is Kosinets' first visit to China since he took office as head of Belarus President Administration.
