Last batch of Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion arrives in S. Sudan

The 130 peacekeeping infantrymen would join other 570 soldiers who have been put in place since the end of February, at a time when the mission area is gradually entering the rainy season.

The last batch of the Chinese peacekeeping infantry battalion arrived in South Sudan on Wednesday, concluding the deployment of the first infantry battalion sent abroad for peacekeeping mission. The 130 peacekeeping infantrymen would join other 570 soldiers who have been put in place since the end of February, at a time when the mission area is gradually entering the rainy season.
