Born in 1990s, Wang Run grows up in a family of flight. His grandfather was an aircraft maintenance technician and his father was a mechanic in the air force. After graduating from senior high school, Wang was admitted to Changsha Aeronautical Vocational and Technical School, majoring in aircraft maintenance. There are seven girls like Wang Run in her class. For them, repairing aircraft is a challenge both to body and to brain.
The school was established in 1973 and there are 2,400 students majoring in aircraft maintenance, with ratio of male students to female students being 10:1. Wang Run, tall and pretty, is the "goddess" of many male students. After three-year hard study, these girls will graduate from the college and become aircraft mechanics.
