More and more college students are worrying about their future after graduation nowadays, but this situation does not apply to Zhang Hailong, a senior who has seven patents granted by State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO).

Zhang has been working so hard at East China Jiaotong University in Jiangxi since 2011. Patents have been granted to seven items that he invented. The most unforgettable invention, according to Zhang, is the "rearview mirror with non-blind area." Zhang said he and his group spent nights and nights in the lab and ate countless instant noodles in order to solve the difficulties. Some car companies are trying to purchase this patent, but Zhang Hailong and his group refused because they wanted to develop and produce by themselves.

Besides inventing, Zhang Hailong is also great with music. Starting from the age of 13, Zhang began to perform on stages. He is good at flute, erhu, and Shanxi Opera. Zhang said that music helped him with his invention, and it was a very important part of research. In the future, Zhang Hailong plans to open a creative company with his friends to provide more convenience for the people.
