
A solar term is any of 24 points in traditional East Asian lunisolar calendars that signifies some natural phenomenon. There are 24 solar terms in all and in each solar term certain food should be eaten in accordance with traditional Chinese customs. In the Summer Solstice cold noodles should be eaten.
