Japan: Gokon

Gokon, a type of blind group date, is popular among Japanese. Single men and women walk into different bars and restaurants to find their partners. Male participants should pay around 6,500 yens (around 55 USD) as entrance fee. Female participants just need to pay half of the amount.

Participants gather at a restaurant, sit down face-to-face and talk to each other for an hour. Then, they will wear wrist straps, enter all the bars and restaurants that offer space for the activity and enjoy free treatment.
