"I know lots of American blockbusters will recruit Chinese actors to cater to audiences in China, but those slots will be cut out when the films are screened in the U.S.," said Director of The Hobbit Peter Jackson in an interview. Jackson thinks it is hypocrisy to add Chinese elements into films just to pander to the Chinese market. Let's have a look at some of the films that have incorporated Chinese elements.

Fan Bingbing

Although Fan Bingbing spared no effort in promoting "Iron Man III" and "X-Men: Days of Future Past", the Chinese movie queen played only minor supporting roles in the two blockbusters.

Fan's appearance on posters promoting "X-Men: Days of Future Past" was even less realistic than in "Iron Man III". Fan spoke a single line in "X-Men: Days of Future Past".
