On Jan. 8, 2015, the launching ceremony of "Beautiful China, 2015 - Year of Silk Road Tourism" was held in Daming Palace National Heritage Park in Xi'an. CNTA Vice Chairman Du Jiang and Deputy Governor of Shaanxi Bai Aying addressed the ceremony.
"Beautiful China" is an international tourism brand of China built by CNTV. It guides the national tourism market through a theme determined annually, and represnets the overall image of Chinese tourism. Shaanxi province is the birthplace of Chinese ethnic and Chinese culture as well as the start point of ancient silk road. Silk Road Tourism Year will enhance the international influence of silk road tourism culture brand.
