Chinese, Malaysian chefs exchange meeting held in Kuala Lumpur

BEIJING, Jan 21  -- "China-Malaysian Chinese Food Exchange Meeting" sponsored by the International Exchange Association of Chinese Cuisine Chefs was held in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

A number of unique Chinese cuisines jointly presented by Malaysian and Chinese chefs were welcomed by local people.

The Chinese delegation consists of 26 famous chefs from Shanghai and northeastern Liaoning province, who brought with them famous local cuisine, including delectable seafood and pastry.

The Chef Association Of Malaysia sends famous local chefs and their artistically prepared food, such as curry multifarious seafood, Wenchang chicken rice and Malay durian cakes.

The Chinese delegation is divided into three groups to have exchange with elites of Chinese food industry in Sarawak, Sabah and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
