British PM to visit U.S. next week: White House

WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 -- British Prime Minister David Cameron will pay a two-day visit to the United States next week to discuss with U.S. President Barack Obama a range of issues of common concern, the White House announced Saturday.

"President Obama will host Prime Minister David Cameron of the United Kingdom at the White House on Thursday and Friday, January 15-16," the White House said in a statement, adding this visit highlights the breadth, depth and strength of the bilateral relationship and the strong bonds of friendship between the two peoples.

Obama will have a working dinner with Cameron at the White House on Jan. 15 before they hold a formal meeting in the Oval Office on Jan. 16.

"The two leaders will discuss a range of issues including economic growth, international trade, cybersecurity, Iran, ISIL, counterterrorism, Ebola, and Russia's actions in Ukraine," the statement said.
