November 21 (puernews.com) – In accordance with the unified arrangement of the Pu'er Municipal Coffee Office and the requirements of the 4C certification, based on the basic conditions of and the mode of management in use in the county's coffee development, led by Jingdong Cooperative Coffee Company, Jingdong County has tightened its agronomic measures and controlled the use of banned pesticides and harmful chemical fertilizers in coffee production.

It was found upon a field inspection by Nescafe's Simao Agronomic Department that the 900 mu of coffee planted by Jingdong Cooperative Coffee Company complies with the 4C Code of Conduct. The company passed the 4C certification in November 2014 and signed an agreement with Nescafe on selling 110 tons of coffee beans.
