Silk Road World Concert showcases the charm of ancient Chang'an

The Silk Road World Concert was successfully held at the scenic spot near the South Gate of the Xi'an City Wall following the Guest Welcoming Ceremony of the China Xi'an Silk Road International Tourism Expo 2014.

A total of 17 domestic and foreign traditional classic pieces, including “Flying Dance”, “Jasmine Flower” and “Secret Garden” were performed at the concert by bands and musicians from China, Malaysia, Singapore, Russia, and Britain. The concert was deemed a great performance rendered according to high specifications and standards, enabling a new dialog and exchange of ideas at Chang'an -- the starting point of the Silk Road, between Western and Oriental civilization.
