You can always see a group of little boys dressed in professional equipment taking part in American football training in Beijing Olympic Forest Park. Catch, throw and offend… they learn every move with total concentration.
They are all members from a club called the true nature of men. The oldest of them is about ten and the youngest is only seven and a half. “I sent my son here hoping he can get strong physically and mentally,” the mother of a member told us. “My child used to be self-centered, but now he has learned to be a team player and his communication skills have also been improved greatly. He would cry and get soaked in the sorrow in front of failure, but now he is able to see failure in a more positive way.”
Gao Boran the coach, says, “The result is not important. The important thing is that the children can get physically strong and stimulate spiritual qualities as real men through American football.”
