The 3rd China (Beijing) International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) kicks off on May 28.
CIFTIS, as a state-level, international and comprehensive service trade event, attracts 16 countries and regions all over the world to set up pavilions this year. In addition, characteristic theme day activities and special events are organized by 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps from China during the fair.
As one of the most important sectors of this fair, culture trade sector attracts large number of audience. In accordance with Chinese government’s “going abroad” strategy which aims to promote Chinese local culture, local cultural enterprises and local cultural products, and enhance the international influence of Chinese culture, Chinese cultural enterprises not only provide visitors with Chinese opera shows, but also seek opportunities of spreading Chinese traditional culture to the world.
CIFTIS will achieve two breakthroughs: to convene a symposium with the theme “consultation and service for application for intangible cultural heritage projects”; another breakthrough is to promote transaction by using the very first created register system of Computer-based Message System.
