A packhorse owner prepares for a journey at a transit camp in the Qilian Mountains in Menyuan County, northwest China's Qinghai Province, May 22, 2014. In recent years, Gangshika, the main peak of the Qilian Mountains, has become a destination for a growing number of travellers. In the nearby village of Shangdiaogou, villagers are grasping a business opportunity by providing the mountain travellers with packhorse services. In each journey, the packhorse team will carry travellers's supplies to a base camp at over 4000 meters in elevation, and bring back redundant supplies as well as garbages. (Xinhua/Guo Qiuda)
