Beijingers Seek Better Housing, Education and Higher Income
Better housing conditions, good education for children and higher income top the list of Beijing residents' concerns, according to a sample survey made public Monday.
The survey, conducted among 500 Beijingers by Beijing Home Economics Research Society, shows that 25.3 percent of the respondents want their living conditions improved when asked what they needed most.
The result shows that more than 24 percent of the respondents are in pursuit of higher incomes, 17.9 percent are seeking better education and job opportunities for their children, while another 12.9 percent prefer to have more time to enjoy themselves.
