In the spacious exhibition hall of General Motor Co. Ltd. Shanghai, a bright red, novel car--Buick GS sedan car recently made its appearance for the first time. This is the third pattern of car put out by GM Shanghai within one year after Buick was formally put into production.
According to Chen Hong, the general manager of GM Shanghai, this pattern of car was designed for those consumers who emphasize driving experience and pursue driving pleasure by using the company's complete feedback system and tracing market reactions. It represents the company's idea of persistently placing the consumers at the center position and satisfying market demands with diversified products.
It's reported the distinct differences between Buick GS and other Buick cars are that it is installed with an easily operational and structurally advanced double-layered sunroof on the basis of an intensified chassis used for police cars in North America, its highest speed can reach 200 km per hour and its rapid tires help to keep the car running more steadily. Besides, the new brand car embodies some unique design of motion and comfort.
The Buick GS car, scheduled to be on sales in the market this June, also comes out of the same product line with other Buick series sedan cars and GL8 business touring wagon. The advanced manufacturing system can largely shorten the manufacturing periods and ensure that the enterprise reacts quickly to consumers' demands, it also helps make constant innovation and raise the value of its original products.
