A survey concerning the conception of paying tax conducted by Economic College of Shenzhen University shows that in economic activities people are paying more attention to getting the knowledge of taxation and concerning about their own rights. 95.01 of the city residents approved of administering tax by Shenzhen tax organs and affirmed the present taxation environment so as to establish a strong guarantee system for a fair tax payment.
As shown by the survey, 95% of them think the economic development and strengthening of pay-tax-conception has spurred up the sharp increase in tax revenue. Among those interviewed in the survey, 60% of them has made the correct choice on the necessity of paying tax on the following five incomes, such as wage or salary, banking deposit, welfare lottery ticket, 69.7% hold the major means to crackdown upon fake receipts is to strengthen its management. However, only 28.51% of them choose "often to ask for receipts", and over 50% think "heavy fine" is the effective way to prevent tax evasion.
