Education China Gives Attention to Employment of New College Graduates

กก China's Ministry of Personnel issued a circular Saturday, calling on personnel departments at all levels to pay particular attention to college students who will soon graduate and be seeking employment this year.

กก The ministry says a sound employment system should be established to help the graduates enter the job market, and an open, equal and competitive atmosphere should be encouraged. Personnel departments must make their work more transparent, and simplify the examination and approval procedures. Officials who take bribes from applicants will be punished.

กก The ministry stresses that continued efforts are needed to choose graduates to work in rural areas and grass-roots public security units.

กก It also calls on China's western regions to provide more favorable conditions so as to attract more highly qualified graduates.
