Education Hong Kong Magnate Donates Money for Education

Li Ka-shing, a renowned Hong Kong businessman, will contribute another 3.2 million yuan in five years to build primary schools and support extremely poor student in his hometown, Chaozhou.

Li, who has been keen to support education, made the remarks in a letter to Zeng Chengnan, deputy mayor of Chaozhou. Since 1994, Li has donated HK$16 million to build 70 primary schools, which have a combined total of 13,600 students.
