Sci-Tech I0C and Yahoo Negotiate on Olympic Reporting

Sources from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) reveal that the committee is negotiating with and Yahoo in regard to selling to Yahoo the right of reporting the Olympic Games .

Francois Carrard, IOC secretary-general, said that the IOC is studying the online strategy, one of which is to decide on the Internet tactics on the Sydney Meet and future Olympic Games.

Yahoo has shown great interests in the right of report on the Olympic Games on the internet. But the IOC is also aware of the security problem. Yahoo and Amazon were attacked by hackers last week.
