Sports Chinese Footballers Win Prizes of Best Player and Best Shot in AFC

At the beginning of the new year, China gained an unexpected surprise in its football game, Two Chinese attackers won the prize of best football player and the best shot respectively in the four Best Appraisals announced by Asian Football Confederation(AFC) in January 2000.

Su Maozhen, a player of Taishan Team, was elected as the Best Player of January, as he kicked 9 goals in three matches, thus became the number one shooter.

Hao Haidong, a player of Shide Team, was awarded a prize for his best shot given in the match with the Uruguay Team in the Four-Country Invitational Tournament held in Guangzhou, with that shot the Chinese Team won the game by 1:0.
