Sports China Won One Gold and Three Silvers in World Cup Short Course Swimming

In the second day of World Cup Short Course Swimming in Italy, Chinese players took another gold medal and three silvers. Ruan Yi used 2:07.22 to take the title of women's 200-meter butterfly stroke. She also finished second in the women's 50-meter butterfly stroke within 26.60.

Jennifer Thompson (the United States) took the title of women's 50-meter butterfly stoke and 100-meter freestyle in 26.60 and 54.14, respectively. Yang Yu, after winning the championship of women's 200-meter freestyle in the first day, ranked second by 54.82.

In addition, Xie Xufeng added another silver medal to his belt with a time of 2:0.60 in men's 200-meter Medley.
