China China-Canada Cooperation in Mineral and Metal Industry

China and Canada January 24 pledged to cooperate closely in promoting the sustainable development of the mineral and metal industry.

Chinese Vice-Minister of Land and Resources Sun Wensheng and visiting Canadian Minister of Natural Resources Ralph Goodale this afternoon signed a memorandum of understanding, after reaching a consensus.

The memorandum is aimed at enhancing bilateral exchange of knowledge and technology, improving environmental protection in mining, and promoting trade and investment in the mineral industry.
