Business Chinese Job-Seekers Attracted by Foreign Companies

Despite the severe cold and snow-covered roads, a huge numbers of people were at the Beijing International Exhibition Center today attending a Employment Fair organized by the Beijing Foreign Enterprise Service Co., the largest human resources company for Beijing-based foreign businesses.

Thousands of job opportunities were on offer in computers, network, telecommunications, electronics, medicine, transportation and aeronautics.

Foreign companies, including ABB, Microsoft, Ericsson, Nokia, IBM, Compaq, Lucent Technologies, Sony and other big names are scouting for potential employees in positions such as project managers, trade representatives, engineers and secretaries.

The fair is also on-line for those who could not make it to the Exhibition Center.

Some Chinese private enterprises such as Legend, Sohu and the Zhenhai Group also took part in the fair scouting for talent as well.
