Culture Book on Deng's Thinking on Foreign Affairs Published

A book on Deng Xiaoping's thinking on foreign affairs has been published by the World Knowledge Press in the wake of a nationwide ideological education campaign.

Jiang Zemin, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, inscribed the title of the book, "Outline for Studying Deng Xiaoping's Thinking on Foreign Affairs".

The book is divided into five sections and includes Deng's contributions to China's foreign policy, and the progress and development of China has achieved in the diplomatic front under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping.

The book also contains photographs of Deng at numerous diplomatic occasions during his long political career.

Party and government officials from the publicity and international departments of the CPC Central Committee, the Foreign Ministry, and senior diplomats contributed in compiling the book.

The book will be available in Xinhua bookstores across the country from January 24.
