Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji and Hans Eichel, minister of finance of Germany, agreed during a meeting in Beijing January 24 morning that China and Germany will further increase their cooperation in the finance sector.

Zhu also exchanged views on a number of other issues of common interest with Eichel, who arrived in Beijing Sunday at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Xiang Huaicheng for a three-day official visit to China.
