Sci-Tech Charity Auction Web Site Launched In Shanghai

China's first charity auction web site, http://yp.sq.sh.cn was launched recently in Shanghai.

The web site was jointly launched by Shanghai Charity Fund, the Shanghai Community Service Center and a local auction company. The Shanghai Charity Fund was established five years ago to help the elderly, infants, students in need and others.

The Fund has collected more than 60 pieces of Chinese calligraphy and painting, decorative items and valuable wristwatches which will be auctioned on-line from January 25 through 29.
