North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is to publish an encyclopedia on Mongolian ethnic medicine late this year.

The reference book features information on traditional medicine of the Mongolian ethnic group, commentaries and explanations of terms in Mongolian medical books as well as articles on leading physicians, history, documents, prescriptions, diagnosis and treatment.

More than 100 experts and scholars with the medical institute of the autonomous region began the compilation of the book early last year.
