China Song Charged of Spying for Overseas

Chinese law-enforcing authorities are investigating into the case of a man by the name Song Yongyi who is accused of illegally purchasing and collecting intelligence for overseas, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhu Bangzao at January 13's press conference.

Song was sponsored by overseas organizations and his acts have violated the criminal law of the People's Republic of China, according to Zhu. (Xinhua)
