China Agricultural Exchange Center Across Taiwan Straits

An agricultural exchange center across the Taiwan Straits has been set up in the city of Zhangzhou, in east China's Fujian Province.

The center is located in a pilot zone for agricultural cooperation between Taiwan and Zhangzhou. It is mainly engaged in the exchange of agricultural information and technology and seedlings between the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.

The center has joined the Internet, providing nearly 30 columnson its website dealing with agricultural news, experts' advice andinvestment information.

Authorities note that the center will serve as a window for theeconomic cooperation across the Straits.
