Friday, January 07, 2000, updated at 09:30(GMT+8) Sports Liaoning Snaps Beijing Home Winning Streak in CBA Liaoning Hunters edged Beijing Ducks on Wednesday 71-69 to snap Beijing's ninth straight home winning streak at the Chinese Basketball Association league. Liaoning, who beat Beijing 82-79 in their first meet on November 28 last year at home, promoted to third place in the team standings with a 9-5 record. In Nanjing, Defending champions Bayi Rockets became the only team to keep home win as they overcame a 53-57 halftime trail to trounce Jiangsu Dragons 123-98 in a road game. Bayi now is 14-1 including eight home wins.
