World Putin Reshuffles Presidential Administration

Acting Russian President Vladimir Putin signed several decrees to reshuffle his administration Monday.

Putin dismissed Tatiana Dyachenko, daughter of former President Boris Yeltsin, from her post as advisor to the president.

Vladimir Shevchenko, deputy chief of the presidential staff and head of the president's protocol department, and Valery emenchenko, another deputy chief of the presidential staff and

head of the president's chancellery, were also dismissed, but re-appointed as Putin's advisors because of their "experience, knowledge" and "professionalism," said presidential press service

head Alexei Gromov at the Kremlin.

Putin also signed a decree removing Dmitri Yakushkin from his post as deputy chief of the presidential staff and presidential press secretary.

On the same day, Chief of Presidential Administration Alexander Voloshin appointed Yakushkin as his assistant.

Vladimir Makarov was also dismissed from his post as deputy chief of presidential staff.
