Business Air China Flies Safely for 45 Full Years

Air China's last flight of 1999 returned from Tokyo and landed safely at Beijing Capital International Airport at 9:35 p.m. December 31.

With the completion of this flight, the airline established a perfect safety record, flying safely for 45 consecutive years.

Air China, founded in 1955, currently has 3,200 pilots and crew members and 44 big and medium-sized aircraft.

The airline boasts 60 domestic routes and 72 international routes, and handles safe take-offs and landings at more than 200 airports in over 100 countries.

Air China has so far safely flown for more than 4.3 million hours and handled a transport turnover of over 28 billion ton-km.
