Business China to Lower Tariff on Textile Imports

China is to cut tariffs on some textile imports starting January 1.

The Ministry of Finance announced here today that from January 1, China will increase the number of products that are subject to import tariffs from the present 6,940 to 7,062.

Also as of Saturday, China will adjust the items and tariff rates for some products that are subject to import quotas or provisional rates of import and export tariffs. (Xinhua)
