Education East China Province to Employ Overseas Talent

East China's Anhui Province, a major grain producer, has announced a talent employment plan as part of an endeavor to improve its higher education.

The province plans to take in some 30 leading scholars and professors from home and abroad over the next five years.

A series of preferential policies will be adopted including higher wages, cheaper housing and favorable conditions for research.

The province will also improve academic exchanges between local colleges and internationally-renowned universities and high-tech enterprises in other countries.

More foreign teachers will be invited to teach at local colleges. There will also be an increasing number of overseas student enrollments.
