China NPC Vice-Chairwoman Meets DPRK Guests

He Luli, vice-chairwoman of the Chinese National People's Congress Standing Committee, met with a cadre delegation of the Workers' Party of Korea headed by Nam Hiu-il, vice-minister of the Science and Education Department of the Party's Central Committee in Beijing on December 25.

The vice-chairwoman said that the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Chinese government attach great importance to relations between the two countries.

She noted that it is the consistent principle of the CPC and the Chinese government to further consolidate and develop the traditional friendship between the two parties, the two countries, and the two peoples.

Nam Hiu-il said that during their visit in China, members of the delegation saw the tremendous achievements the Chinese people have scored in their construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

Facts have shown that the course and the reform the CPC has adopted are in line with China's conditions and thus correct, he noted.
