Sports Pele Voted NOC's Top Athlete of the Century

Brazilian soccer legend Pele has been voted as the No. 1 of the top five Athletes of the Century by the world's National Olympics Committees in Lausanne, Switzerland.

American Muhammad Ali came behind Pele and Ali's compatriots Carl Lewis, Michael Jordan and Mark Spitz were counted down on the list.

The NOCs also listed their top five leaders in sport with Baron Pierre de Coubertin, as No. 1 ahead of Juan Antonio Samaranch, Joao Havelange, Primo Nebiolo and Avery Brundage. (Xinhua)
