Statistics show that more than 16,000 tons of cargo have so far been carried on the route, and there have been some 350 flights, up 4 and 3.8 times, respectively, on a yearly basis. Chinese business people mainly transport leather, textiles, and light industrial goods on the route to the Commonwealth of Independent State (CIS).
